A very warm welcome from the FROGS committee.
The FROGS or friends of Goldsborough School are a group of parents committed to raising funds for additional resources and activities which enrich the educational experience of the pupils.
Every parent automatically becomes a FROG and can become involved as much or as little as they please. Many people, who are able to help, find that it also offers a great deal of fun and fellowship which is welcome, especially if parents are new to the community.
FROGS support the school throughout the year with a wide range of events and activities, many of which are social events where we aim to offer some form of entertainment in return for raising funds.

In the School year 2007-2008 we raised money and contributed over £1500 towards:
Each year we also contribute money for each class for sundry items.
All of these help to reduce the amount of contribution that parents are asked to make.
All of the events and activities are organised by an elected committee and we hold an AGM each year in October where we hope to encourage parents to join the committee. All members represent a wide range of talent and ideas and we always welcome new ideas for the future.
Our success is dependent upon the support of members and parents. The efforts of FROGS directly benefit the Children and families associated with the school as well as the wider community.
